While we celebrate the incredible work our Let’s Talk Science volunteers do throughout the entire year, we especially want to take a moment to recognize your dedication on this, International Volunteer Day.
The United Nations General Assembly established this day of celebration in 1985 and since then, has recognized it and created awareness of the work of volunteers globally.
In 2013-2014, Let’s Talk Science has engaged over 224,000 children and youth in over 400 communities across Canada. Without the amazing dedication of our volunteers, this would not have been possible. We plan to continue and grow in the year ahead.
Thank you to everyone who has supported Let’s Talk Science and helped to spread the enjoyment and understanding of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) across the country.
