11th annual Let's Talk Science Challenge gearing up to be biggest ever

Students participating in the Let's Talk Science ChallengeWe're so excited for the 11th Annual Let's Talk Science Challenge, happening in 23 locations across Canada from April 24 to May 29, 2015.

The Challenge is ramping up to be our biggest event yet, with 814 teams of Grade 6, 7 and 8 students already registered across Canada!

The Challenge is one of five STEM enrichment programs that Let's Talk Science proudly offers free to students, thanks to the generosity of our national Let's Talk Science supporters, including: Honda Canada Foundation, 3M Canada, Amgen Canada, Shaw Communications (Broadcast Partner), and the CH2M Hill Foundation.

This program helps students explore and prepare for their post-secondary education and career options. It also helps build students' skills in team collaboration, cooperative learning, critical thinking and problem solving!

Students prepare for Challenge day using a comprehensive Student Study Handbook, online quizzes, FAQs and an "Ask a Question" Form (all available online now).

If you're not currently registered for the Challenge and want to enter a team, visit challenge.letstalkscience.ca or contact Lorna Collins, Project Coordinator, Outreach at lcollins@letstalkscience.ca to check for availability. There are some spots still available.

As well, if you register as an educator today, you will be among the first to be notified when registration opens for the 2016 Let's Talk Science Challenge.

Good luck to all of our registered teams! Let's go science!
