How long have you been volunteering with Let's Talk Science?: September 2009

Degree working towards: BSc. Biological Sciences - Cell, Molecular, and Developmental Biology with Co-op option

Why do you volunteer?: I volunteer with Let's Talk Science because it is such a unique volunteer opportunity that benefits both the youth that the program targets, as well as the volunteers. I support and believe in the goals of the program and enjoy volunteering with an organization that is related to my field of study. Plus, it's A LOT of fun!!

Interesting facts about Katlyn: Katlyn used to play clarinet, piano, and bass guitar! Also, she will be spending her summer in a research lab in Germany as the recipient of a Research Internship in Science and Engineering (RISE) award. Congratulations!

Thank you for volunteering and helping to make Let's Talk Science a success!
