How Long have you volunteered with Let's Talk Science?: 8 years

Field of Study: Bioinformatics

Degree Completed: Bachelor of Health Sciences, Major in Bioinformatics

Why do you volunteer?: Science is fundamentally a framework to gather evidence and make decisions about the world around us. It is the lens through which I view the world. That is something I hope to share with a new generation of young scientists.

2 fun facts about Peter: I was an extra in the pilot episode of AMC's Hell on Wheels. I shoot slide film on the same camera which my father used when he was my age now.

Sandrine, Let's Talk Science Outreach volunteer, Montreal

Let's Talk Science would like to thank every volunteer across Canada for your dedication to the program! To learn more about how you can volunteer with Let's Talk Science, visit our volunteer information page.
