Graduate student volunteers offer their time and expertise freely, such that all activities provided to the schools, after-school programs, and home schooling groups are without cost to the teachers or to the schools.

We make every effort to adapt our activities to the school curriculum. Regular communication allows the teachers to prepare the class for the activity and allows us to identify what activities have worked well.

Let’s Talk Science is fun! For teachers, students and graduate student volunteers - everyone who is involved in a Let's Talk Science activity benefits because all activities are designed to be educational and interactive. Graduate students share enthusiasm and knowledge and receive positive reinforcement for good teaching skills.
