Rural and Remote

Rural and Remote Adventures at UWO

A big goal of Let's Talk Science at UWO is to reach out to schools and communities in rural/remote areas in order to bring the joy of science to areas where students may never have the opportunity to see “real scientists”.  Over the years, we've received a lot of positive feedback from teachers and community leaders in rural areas that have said that the excitement level about science increased exponentially after our visit, with many students considering taking science courses at college or university.

Here are just a few of the rural areas that we reach:
Grand Bend, Thedford, Wallaceburg, Goderich, Seaforth, Hensall, Clinton, St. Thomas, Stratford, Brucefield, Walkerton, Hanover, Owen Sound, and lots more!
