Join Let's Talk Science Outreach to read J. Jean Robertson's book, "Charlie's Harmonica" and complete a hands-on science activity about sound!

In this activity, students will explore different characteristics of a sound using everyday household objects. Students will then create their very own popsicle harmonica.

For this activity, students will need:

  • 2 popsicle sticks
  • 2 small rubber bands
  • 1 large, thick rubber band (alternative: paper)
  • 1 toothpick (alternative: straw, paper/cardstock)
  • pencil
  • scissors
