Join Let's Talk Science Outreach to read James Carter’s book, “Once Upon a Star” and complete a hands-on science activity about the Solar System!

Students will learn about the planets in our Solar System and how they came to be. Using everyday household items, students will then create their own Solar System drawing.

For this activity, students will need:

-paper (white or coloured)

-colouring crayons/pencils

-scissors

-glue

-a small cup or something circular to trace circular shapes on the pieces of paper (e.g., different sized tape)
