StemCellTalks is an outreach initiative presented in collaboration with the Stem Cell Network and Let's Talk Science. These symposiums across Canada aim to educate high school students ( grade 11-12) about stem cell science and ethics.
Stem cell research is an exciting and evolving field that requires scientists, doctors, and engineers to name a few careers. However, as the field changes so does the number of potential careers.
Learn about the potential careers available now and in the future in the field of stem cell research. Join our panel of renowned researchers both in academia and in the industry to learn about how you can apply your skills, talents, and passion to this up-and-coming field. Additionally, learn about the legal and ethical issues that arise as this field expands.
Unsure what stem cells are? Don't worry! A crash course by a renowned stem cell biologist will be offered to start this event.
