Bridge Bonanza	1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6	1-2 hours	Engineering	Students learn about strong and stable structures by building three different kinds of bridges and testing their load limits.
Bright Lights, Big Science	4	1-2 hours	Physics	Students investigate light and learn how light can be transmitted, reflected, refracted or absorbed by materials in our environment.
Fight or Flight: The Science of Stress	4, 5, 6	1-2 hours	Biology, Health Science	Learn how the body reacts to stressful situations by looking at the cardiovascular system, nervous system and endocrine system.
Coding with Ozobots	4, 5, 6, 7, 8	Less than 1 hour	Information Technology/Computer Science	Ozobots will introduce you to the basic concepts of coding. Instead of understanding only zeros and ones, Ozobots understand 4 colours (black, blue, green, and red).
Driving Towards the Future	4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10	1-2 hours	Engineering, Information Technology/Computer Science	Youth will learn about the current topic of self-driving cars and use it as a platform to learn about the big ideas behind computational thinking – how to break down a problem into steps, and how to create a process that can be followed to reach a goal. This hands-on workshop does not require the use of a computer.
It’s Electrifying	5, 6	1-2 hours	Physics	Students gain a basic understanding of electricity by experimenting with electrical circuits, conductors, insulators, and electromagnets.
