Let's Talk Science Outreach at uOttawa and CarletonU

Let's Talk Science at the University of Ottawa (uOttawa) and Carleton University (CarletonU) was established in 1993 at uOttawa by Dr. Barbara Vanderhyden and Dr. Paul Morley. CarletonU joined the program in 2001. The program was directed by Dr. Barbara Vanderhyden for 25 years.

The program is currently directed by Sue McKee, University of Ottawa alumna, and coordinated by graduate and undergraduate students at the University of Ottawa and at Carleton University. Activities are performed by over 300 graduate and undergraduate student volunteers from both universities.

Join Us at Let’s Talk Science

Our Outreach program volunteers pass on their passion for STEM to youth in Canada. They shatter negative stereotypes and inspire children and youth to become engaged in STEM learning. Through Let’s Talk Science Outreach, we support educators and help youth form positive attitudes towards the role that STEM plays in their lives and futures.
