Let's Talk Science at the University of Windsor

Let's Talk Science at UWindsor aims to engage and inspire youth with hands-on science activities that increase their understanding and appreciation of the world around them.

Our volunteers are highly educated and trained UWindsor science undergraduate and graduate students, and our outreach program is free of charge, thanks to generous support from our sponsors.

We look forward to making connections with students, teachers, and community groups in Windsor and Essex County.

Join Us at Let’s Talk Science

A background in STEM is an asset but not essential - there are many ways to participate in our programming. We will do our best to provide you with an opportunity that matches your knowledge, skills, and interests. In addition to doing outreach activities, there are opportunities to provide administrative support, help with promotions and communications, translation services, etc. We only require that you enjoy working with children and that you are enthusiastic about science and education!

Our Outreach program volunteers pass on their passion for STEM to youth in Canada. They shatter negative stereotypes and inspire children and youth to become engaged in STEM learning. Through Let’s Talk Science Outreach, we support educators and help youth form positive attitudes towards the role that STEM plays in their lives and futures.
