I was born/grew up in: Berthierville, Québec

I now live in: Québec, Québec

I completed my training/education at: BA Communication Ottawa University

What I do at work

I am a communicator - I do research for the different topics I have to present on air and share my results as well as my opinion with the viewers.

My career path is

I have been involved all my life from school projects to member of parliament. My goal was always to help contribute to make a better society. After I graduated from University I worked in communications and marketing for several different businesses. I took on different leadership roles in several organizations where I used my communications background to help them with their goals. I advanced in my career in communications and marketing taking on greater responsibilities and roles. As I was always interested in helping my community I ran successfully for provincial government. After I lost my seat I returned to the communications field and had several successful positions of leadership. I’m continuing my communications role as a political commentator.

I am motivated by

I like to be in contact with people and share ideas and develop new perspectives on issues.

How I affect peoples’ lives

I hope that what I do helps people make their own mind on topics that are important to society and contribute to make them more engaged citizens.

Outside of work I

Being outdoor is one of my greatest pleasures but getting involved in various causes represents my greatest achievement.

My advice to others

Open your horizons - have diverse interests

When I was a student, I enjoyed:

  • Home Economics
When I was a student, I would have described myself as someone who:
  • Brought people together
  • Liked helping people
  • Organized activities for my friends
  • Liked being given free range to explore my ideas
  • Engaged in volunteer activities
  • Felt great satisfaction in getting good grades
