STEM Storytime

Early Years – Grade 3 – Weekly, 30-40 minutes

Help students become stronger readers with this virtual weekly session followed by a related STEM activity. Co-hosted by Let’s Talk Science’s squirrel mascot, Lexie, younger learners are sure to be engaged as they demonstrate the concepts they have discovered.

STEM Club

Grade 4-6 – Fall and winter terms, plus summer break 

Build on the foundational concepts through fun practical activities that could include introducing coding through binary bracelets, building a kite to demonstrate aerodynamics or creating art with chromatography. Materials to enable participation are available for those in need.

Daily Discovery Series

Grade 4-6 – on-demand, spring and summer

Receive an activity, complete with video instructions, direct to your inbox each day for a week in this virtual STEM camp. Offered during Spring and Summer, these activities are designed to be completed from anywhere – in the classroom, at home, on vacation – at a time that suits!

Let’s Talk…Symposiums

Grade 9-12 - Throughout the year, 90 minutes

Symposiums provide youth with the opportunity to hear from a panel of experts on a variety of topical subjects, such as space, AI and health and wellness. Inspiring guests include academic commentators, industry professionals and internet influencers who answer students’ questions during the live event.
