Jeremy Hansen is a Canadian Space Agency astronaut who will be the first Canadian to orbit the moon during the Artemis II mission. Jeremy learned to fly before he was an astronaut and that opportunity prepared him for going to space.

Jeremy has participated in multiple Let’s Talk Science events, including Let’s Talk Space in 2022, where he discussed the importance of collaboration in space and explained the many career opportunities within the industry.

As their name suggests, dwarf planets are smaller than the true planets of our Solar System. In fact, they are all smaller than our own Moon! Size isn’t the only thing that defines dwarf planets. In 2006, the International Astronomical Union (IAU) defined the characteristics of a dwarf planet as:
