Happy National Volunteer Week!

| April 9, 2021 | Share on:

Despite a challenging year, our volunteers have gone above and beyond to inspire youth through their passion for science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). In 2019-2020, approximately 2,500 Let’s Talk Science volunteers contributed over 25,000 hours of service!

At Let’s Talk Science, volunteers dedicate their time to science outreach in various ways, all equally important! Whether that be presenting virtual or in-person outreach activities in classrooms and at community events, editing online content to ensure accuracy, preparing materials for workshops or providing insight to youth about their research on a career panel.

April 18-24 is National Volunteer Week and we want to say thank you to our amazing volunteers for the critical work they do across Canada!
