Please read section 6 carefully as it outlines important rights that you are granting to us. Among those rights, by entering the contest, you consent to the release of your name and photograph and provide us with certain rights over your Submission.

By entering the Contest, you agree, represent, and warrant to us that you have complied with these Official Rules and Regulations. To be eligible to win, you must meet all the eligibility requirements set out in section 1 or your participation in the Contest will be denied. All entries become the property of the Contest Sponsor and will not be returned to you.

3. CONTEST PERIOD. The Contest opens on June 22, 2020. All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. (Eastern standard time) on November 2, 2020.

4. WINNER SELECTION.

Winners will be selected as follows:

a.) 25 prizes will be randomly awarded for each of the 8 weeks of the Contest. 200 prizes will be awarded in total.

b.) Each week, for 8 weeks beginning the week of September 25, 2020, we will select 25 Eligible Entries by random draw (each, a “Random Winner”).

c.) In any random draw, if a Random Winner is not an Eligible Entry (if the entry does not comply with these Official Rules and Regulations, which includes the eligibility requirements in section 1 and all other requirements), a new Eligible Entry will be randomly selected until all 25 Random Winners for that week are Eligible Entries.

d.) Each Random Winner will be entitled to win one of the 25 prizes awarded that week.

e.) Once a Random Winner has been selected to win a weekly prize, the person who is the Random Winner will not be eligible to win any subsequent draw.

f.) All 25 Random Winners will be removed from future random draws, and any other entries that a winning person may have submitted will be ineligible for any future random draw during the Contest. Only 1 prize will be awarded per person during the Contest.

The odds of winning are related to the number of entries that we receive and the number of entries that you submit. The odds of any one person winning a prize will decrease as the number of entries we receive increases. Each winning person will be ineligible for further draws during the Contest. No person may win more than one prize in the Contest, regardless of the number of entries submitted.

5. PRIZES.

a.) The winners will be selected as set out in section 4.

b.) Each Random Winner will be entitled to win 1 of 200 prize packages, each of which has an estimated value of $25.00 Canadian Dollars. The 200 prize packages shall be awarded from the following list of prizes:

(i) 20 one-year subscriptions to OWL magazine;

(ii) 140 learn and play packages from Scholar’s Choice;

(iii) 40 book prize packages with books from OWL publishing and Little Inventors; and

(iv) 10 one-year subscriptions to Les Débrouillards (eligible for French language entrants)

The prize package that each Random Winner will be entitled to receive will be determined by random draw of the then-remaining prize packages. The combination of prize packages awarded each week may vary due to the nature of the random draw.

c.) The parent or guardian of the winners will be notified at the contact information set out in the Contest Entry Form, and all prizes will be presented to the parent or guardian of the prize winner at the contact information indicated on the Contest Entry Form.
