Let’s Talk Science Inspire - Educate - Innovate Fundraising Campaign Reaches New Heights to Support Engaging STEM Education for All Youth in Canada

Campaign Total Jumps to $18,319,451 

Let’s Talk Science, a trusted STEM education partner for more than 30 years, is proud to announce a significant milestone in its ongoing efforts to spark enthusiasm for science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) for youth in Canada. Thanks to the generosity of its supporters, the Let’s Talk Science Inspire – Educate – Innovate Fundraising Campaign continues to surge ahead with another $146,500 in donations, bringing the total so far to $18,319,451.  

Contributions from Sanofi Canada, Nelson, STEMCELL Technologies, The Winnipeg Foundation, CAE Inc., Fluor Canada Ltd., Morpheus.Network, and DuPont Canada will enable Let’s Talk Science to expand its reach and deepen its impact through accessible, engaging, and innovative STEM education programs that inspire and empower youth. Let’s Talk Science reaches students and teachers in all regions of Canada, including Indigenous, rural and remote communities. 

“We are sincerely grateful for the tremendous support from our donors, whose unwavering commitment to education is helping to shape a brighter future for our youth,” said Dr. Bonnie Schmidt, President of Let’s Talk Science.  

“These contributions are not only an investment in the potential of our children but also a testament to the shared belief in the power of STEM to inspire innovation and drive positive change,” said Richard Longtin, Vice-President of External Relations. “This funding furthers our ability to continue to offer all of our programs at no charge, ensuring that every teacher and student can access our leading-edge programs and resources.” 

The generous donations will support a variety of programs, including hands-on learning experiences, critical skills development, and digital resources that cater to the diverse needs of students and educators across the country. The funding also bolsters Let’s Talk Science's vision of inspiring all children and youth in Canada to develop the skills they need to participate and thrive in an ever-changing world.
