Adèle volunteers with Let’s Talk Science to show students how much fun math and science can be!
Time volunteering with Let’s Talk Science: This is my third year as a volunteer.
Area of study: Fields Postdoctoral Fellow at Carleton University
Inspirational Moment: When judging the Ottawa Science Innovation Challenge, I was really in awe of the quality of the projects that were presented. Seeing how talented the younger generation of scientists is, inspires me to keep spreading the joy and encouraging them to discover their potential.
Favourite Let’s Talk Science volunteering activity: I really loved giving a presentation for the “Chat with a Scientist” series during the Let’s Talk Science Challenge.
Why do you volunteer with Let’s Talk Science?: Because I want to show students just how fun science can be (especially mathematics)!
Fun fact: I love hiking and play the clarinet!
