Moment of inspiration: During an activity about waves with a group of Kindergarten students in Memramcook, one of the children who wasn’t interested in science was suddenly wide-eyed when one of her classmates had a conversation with them from the other side of the classroom, using a cup and string as a telephone. It was a perfect example of how anyone can develop a passion for science. That's "Science with Impact"!
Favourite volunteer activity with Let's Talk Science: The Bone Zone
Why volunteer for Let's Talk Science? As a swimming instructor and scientist, Let's Talk Science allows me to pursue two of my passions, while supporting a very important cause for the future of innovation and our society in general!
Fun fact: I have been running cross-country and in Track and Field since Grade 3.
