Katherine Haché
Let’s Talk Science Volunteer at the University of New Brunswick, Fredericton Campus

Katherine has great memories of participating in the Let’s Talk Science Challenge in middle school and became a Let’s Talk Science volunteer to help give other students the same experience!

Time volunteering with Let’s Talk Science: 3 years.

Area of study: BSc in Biology.

Inspirational Moment: When the students in one class asked if we could come back the week after to do another activity, because they had so much fun learning about science!

Favourite Let’s Talk Science volunteering activity: Rockets and Geysers.

Why do you volunteer with Let’s Talk Science?: I love getting to teach and show kids how much fun science can be! I also have great memories of participating in the Let’s Talk Science Challenge when I was in middle school and wanted to help ensure others could also experience that.

Fun fact: I love to read, and one of my favourite authors is Agatha Christie.
