Time volunteering with Let’s Talk Science: 4 years

Inspirational Moment: I remember once we were playing with stomp rockets and a kid asked me what would happen if we tried modifying something. I don’t remember specifically what it was, but I remember I had no idea what would happen. That day I learned that no matter how old you are, you can always learn something new by trying new things and seeing what happens.

Favourite Let’s Talk Science volunteering activity: The Let’s Talk Science Challenge was probably my favourite activity, both to organize and to participate in. We had the chance to spend the whole day with the students and I really feel I had a better impact on them with regards to their interest in STEM.

Why do you volunteer with Let’s Talk Science? I really like the impact that STEM activities have on young people, especially the hands-on experience. I think this approach is one of the best ways to learn more about the world around us.

Fun fact: Even though I was born in Québec, my mother is French Ontarian and my dad is French.
