Time volunteering with Let’s Talk Science: 2 Years

Area of study: Plant Biomechanics (PhD student)

Inspirational Moment: Honestly, every time I get to visit a classroom for an activity is inspirational. Watching students get really involved in the activity and seeing how proud they are when experiments work is a great feeling.

Favourite Let’s Talk Science volunteering activity: Definitely the Land-fill Activity - it’s wonderfully messy and loads of fun.

Why do you volunteer with Let’s Talk Science? I love being an ambassador for science and want to inspire the next generation of scientists!

Fun fact: I’m an archer and have competed in archery competitions!
