Join Lexie and Lenny to read Andrea Wang and Kana Urbanowicz’s book, “Magic Ramen: The Story of Momofuku Ando” and complete a hands-on science activity about invention and creative problem-solving!

In this 45-minute activity, students will learn all about invention, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Students will use everyday household items to brainstorm a task or challenge in their daily lives and design an invention to make it easier or more fun.

For this activity, students will need:

  • A piece of paper
  • A pen or pencil
  • Optional: coloring materials

This activity is targeted at students in Grades 1 to 3. Younger students may still enjoy the activity and book but may require more adult help and support.
