In this activity, students will learn about how composting works and discuss why it is important for reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the fight against climate change. Then, using everyday household materials, they will then create their own compost.

Join us for the STEM Storytime Winter Special! For four weeks, we will host an EXTRA Storytime session each week for Early Years to Grade 3 where a volunteer will read a storybook and lead participants through a hands-on STEM activity connected to the story.
