Give a Gift of Learning!
COVID-19 has underscored the critical importance of science literacy and public trust in science. STEM engagement builds those attributes and develops critical thinking, problem-solving, evidence-based decision-making skills, and much more. In a world increasingly driven by innovation, the demand for people who can fill STEM-related jobs continues to increase but the reality is that most Canadian students disengage from STEM courses before graduating high school.
Through STEM educational programming, resources and events like the Let’s Talk Science Online Challenge, we're helping youth learn to take risks, develop the persistence to find innovative solutions to real-world problems, and the competencies required to thrive in an ever-changing world.
“I wanted to take a minute to thank you and your team again for making such an amazing effort in producing the French Challenge online. You kept the kids engaged and coming back, week after week, all the while encouraging them to develop a greater love and appreciation of STEM subjects.”
- Carrie Agapie of Montreal, QC
parent of two daughters who participated in the French Online Challenge.
