Learn About My Career

I manage a diverse team of cross-functional software developers.

I was born/grew up in: I was born in Nigeria.

I now live in: I live in Kitchener, Ontario.

I completed my training/education at: I have a Bachelors of Engineering from the Federal University of Technology (FUTO). I am a certified Project Manager from Project Management Institute (PMI). I am a certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance..

At work, I help my team get through the day by identifying hindrances or blockers and removing them. I also conceptualize solutions and lead new projects from inception, through initiation, planning, execution and completion. My core team are mostly software developers. We build both web and mobile applications for teenagers and younger kids. Some of this software help kids and teenagers learn about the fascinating world of science. I am like a glue to the team because I pull all the strings together as needed.

I have always had a love of computers and building things! At an early age, I knew I was going to an engineer of some sort. I started by building little apps and websites while in school. As I grew in my career, I realized my skill was helping people. As a result, I learned how best to help people in an agile environment. This led me to being involved in Project Management and scrum master trainings.

I am excited about solving problems, building new things and helping my team. Working as part of a team is exciting for me.

By helping my team build awesome software, we are helping teenagers and younger kids learn about STEM in a fun way.
