Are your students up for the Let's Talk Science Challenge? Put their STEM knowledge to the test by taking part in theory, hands-on, and team activities in this national STEM competition.

This is a great hands-on activity for large-scale community events or even in class visits. Students build spider webs out of toothpicks, thin, flexible wires, and beads. This can act as a supplement to other bug-related activities or even to discussing elements of mathematics in nature.

This activity will introduce younger audiences to what science is.

Students learn about interspecific competition and population and ecosystem dynamics through a fun and dynamic game. They are introduced to adaptations, prey and predator relationships, food chains and evolution.

Measuring distances today is done using fixed units (cm, m, ft, inches), but this was not always the case! This activity explores how a person's foot can be used as a measuring tool, and the benefits of standardizing units.

What is your favorite colour? How do plants and flowers have so many different colours? What if you could change their colour? In this activity, you will explore the properties and structure of plants and how to change their color.

To pictorially demonstrate the relationship between the sine and cosine graphs and the unit circle. This will give the students a better idea of what the graphs should look like rather than having them memorize it.

To demonstrate how two eyes interact with each other, and how strange things can happen when we alter the conditions in which we see the world.

Students will explore density by modifying the density of liquids, observing the density of different solids, and observing the density differences between objects that occupy the same volume by comparing varieties of pop. Mass over volume is the message!

In this activity, we will learn about how natural adaptations, like fat, can help animals survive in polar regions.

The objective of this activity is to be able to drop the object, and have it get as close to the ground as possible without it actually touching, much like with actual bungee jumping.

This is a fun, interactive activity to help students understand the process of cross-pollination!

Students explore statistics by collecting data of their classmates names and seeing whether or not female or male names are longer.
