I was born/grew up in: I was born in Moradabad, India.
I now live in: Ajax, Ontario.
I completed my training/education at: Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical); Master of Business Administration in Aviation (MBAA) from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University; Master of Engineering (Industrial and Mechanical) from the University of Toronto.
I am a Quality Engineer at Boeing Canada. Quality engineers are very important in the manufacturing process. We examine how various parts are made and assembled. We identify ways to improve these processes. We develop processes to make the workplace safer and ensure our products are the best they can be. To do this we help make sure all levels of manufacturing keep a high standard of quality. This helps make sure that things are made correctly using the right tools and processes.
I work with suppliers to make sure the supply chain is meeting our standards of quality. I work with other industry leaders to set standards we all follow. I analyze data from tests to identify potential flaws in processes or products. I help develop and implement any necessary changes. I am part of a huge team that makes sure aircraft perform properly and safely.
When I was young, I was interested in planes and flying. In school, I enjoyed math and science. I enjoyed solving problems and working on projects that required critical thinking. I enjoyed designing and building things. I like working with my hands. When I graduated high school, I decided to study Mechanical Engineering because it involved all these things.
When I graduated, I worked in a variety of roles related to manufacturing. Some of my tasks included quality control management and implementing new technologies. I also worked at finding ways to make manufacturing processes simpler and safer. I took on leadership roles and continued to learn new things. As I learned more about the aerospace industry, I took on different and more challenging roles
I enjoy that I get to work on complex engineering problems and with new technologies.
My work on aerospace products and processes helps reduce risks in flying. I do this by identifying ways to improve our processes.
I enjoy playing cricket. I like to spend time with my family and travel.

What I do at work

My career path is
