Learn About My Career

I run a business that offers career, life coaching and training to a wide age range of people.

I was born/grew up in: Born St. Thomas, Ontario and grew up there until University of Waterloo where I earned a PhD in Chemistry and M.A.Sc. in Chemical Engineering.

I now live in: Brownstown, Michigan, U.S.A.

I completed my training/education at: University of Waterloo - B.Sc. ('76), Ph.D. ('79) chemistry and M.A.Sc.('84) Chemical Engineering

I worked for more than 35 years in industry. I worked in Canada, Germany, and the USA.  When I retired, I decided to start my own business. Today I own and run QuantumQik Careers and FlashCard Leadership video training. We provide career and life coaching and training. Our clients include people of all ages, from students up to retirees. I am also an adjunct professor at several universities. I attend conferences and events where I speak and teach about science, leadership, and Life Skills. Am a Career Counselor for the American Chemical Society and I run workshops at their conferences.

Following my degrees, I worked in Chem Industry in Sarnia for about a decade. Then I moved to Germany, North Carolina, back to Germany, and to Michigan in 2001. Most of this time I was in Leadership roles. I “retired” in 2015 and started my own business.

I love seeing other people design and plan their lives for a Life Fully Lived - I wear the Energizer Bunny suit! And to continue to coach and mentor them!

My participants learn life skills: Purpose, Passion, Make a Life Plan, and Work Your Plan for a Life Fully Lived. Through my work, I have touched and influenced the lives of hundreds - colleagues, friends, students, and "clients".

Teaching, mentoring, and playing music. I have done some part-time gigging in local bands.

Learn your Passion and your Purpose. Take measured risks. HAVE FUN!
